NOW YOU CAN EITHER START USING THE ID CHIPS TO AUTOMATICALLY

DISPLAY THE PROPER GAME NAME ON YOUR GAME MENU

OR

CREATE YOUR OWN PERSONAL LIST

 

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PLAYCHOICE 10 SET TO FREE PLAY FOR THIS BIOS TO WORK.

You can do this by setting all the dipswitch’s identified as SW1 and SW2 located on the Motherboard by the main cable connection,

to the OFF position except for the last one identified as P on the circuit board.

 

SIMPLY PULL THE 8T EPROM FROM YOUR MOTHER BOARD AND PLUG IN

THE REPLACEMENT EPROM LABELED PC 10 BIOS v1.1

 

 

If you are going to use the NAME ID chip on the game cartridge, you will NOT need to make any changes to the list menu.

It will automatically read the modified NAME ID chips and display the proper game names.

 

If you are going to modify your list

YOU MUST PULL THE NAME ID EPROM CHIP ON ANY PCB’s “GAME CARTRIDGES”

YOU MODIFY IN THE GAME LIST MENUS OR THEY WILL OVER WRIGHT YOUR CHANGES

MENU LIST EDITOR

 

Turn on the PC10 and it will start with the PLAY LIST MENU displayed.

Drop a quarter into the coin slot or press the service button inside the door.

This will bring you to the EDIT LIST MENU where you will select which slot you would like to change.

 

 

Use the “Channel Select” button to scroll to the slot you wish to edit.

 

Press the “ENTER” button to edit the slot.

            You can enter up to 19 Characters on the game title line.

 

The SLOT EDIT MENU is where you will edit the title you wish to display and player info.

            (REMEMBER you must have the NAME ID chip removed from the PCB or it will

over write any changes you make here as soon as you go back to the play list menu.)

 

Press the “ENTER” Button to move the curser (its more like an arrow) in the center of your screen to the RIGHT.

Holding the “Channel Select” button down wile pressing the “ENTER” button will move the curser to the LEFT

 

Place the Curser under the “DEFAULT” option and then press the “RESET” button to reset the line displaying (SLOT ##) in the text line.

Place the Curser under the “CLEAR” option and then press the “RESET” button to clear the text line.

 

Place the Curser in the “TEXT LINE” area and press the “RESET” button to scroll through the character options. You can have up to 19 characters on this line.

 

Place the Curser in the last two text line positions and press the “RESET” button to change the player option picture.

 

Place the Curser under the “DONE” option and then press the “RESET” button to save your changes and return to the “EDIT LIST MENU” where you can select another slot to edit or press the “RESET” again and return to the “PLAY LIST MENU”
